The SCAD comment is true uncle G. They are slated to open a campus in HK in fall 2010… that may be too late for me though… but perhaps down the road. It sounds like we’re going to be slimming down here, but we’re still not out of the dark yet. It’s going to be a bumpy messy ride down and then out…I’m keeping the SCAD idea in mind… I’m also considering taking a job at a local studio here that’s doing film work for the states… I just don’t know if I want to commit to that yet. I’ll have to figure things out.

We found tickets to get to Chengdu from china eastern for about 400 kuai (about 50 bucks We haven’t commited to purchasing yet because we’ve still got to figure out the numbers. It sounds like we’re going to Shaolin temple this weekend instead (Zhongzhou) and then going to another city that has some Buddhist cave grottos. We’re getting a little braver because we’re doing an open jaw in terms of train travel. We’re going to one city, visiting, then taking a bus to another city that evening, visiting the city on Sunday, and then taking the train to Beijing from there… I think there are many interesting ways this could screw up – but it’s fun to change things up a bit.
